My friend Jen likes to host food parties. Her first, the Mac & Cheese Smackdown, was a blast. Twelve different ooey, gooey submissions smothered in cheesy goodness. This time she challenged us to come up with our best food on a stick dish. This was my submission: “Smack Yo Mama That’s Tasty Chicken & Waffles on a Stick.” I tied with the make-your-own-smores submission for Best Presentation and won First Place overall. Yay!
It’s rumored that her next party is going to be centered around Potatoes. Lemme tell ya, this Irish girl is excited for that one.
